Molly Hannis won the 100 breast at the TYR Pro Swim Series Mesa in 1:06.65, just off her season-best time of 1:06.08 that ranks second in the world. But in windy conditions, Hannis was plenty pleased to be back in the 1:06-range, and she explained afterwards on how she’s worked to be consistent in the 100 breast.

Hannis was an Olympian in the 200 breast, but she did not swim that event in Mesa. Why? To focus more on sprinting, she explained. Hannis also detailed some of the stroke changes she has worked on to maximize her speed.
