AUSTIN, Texas, March 30. AUBURN’s Kyle Darmody had a rare chance to swim directly against his brother Kip, who swims for Texas, as both anchored on the men’s 400-yard free relay at the NCAA Division I Men’s Championships.

While Kip had a better outing in the 100 back earlier in the meet, Kyle out-split his brother, 41.48 to 42.70, en route to sending Auburn’s seniors Marcelo Chierighini and James Disney-May out with a win.
