Kathleen Baker finished second in the 200 IM at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga., and afterwards she joined Swimming World to discuss her race strategy – she blistered the field on the butterfly leg – and how it felt to have three freshman from California schools make up the entire podium.

During the interview, Baker had an encounter with an airborne creature that ended with a bang. Watch the video below to see what she had to say and her reaction to her flying visitor.
