(Video Interview) Jack Dolan Talks First Nationals, First Nationals Final

15-year-old Jack Dolan destroyed his best time in the 50 free prelims Thursday morning at Winter Nationals in Atlanta, posting a 20.01 to qualify for the championship final, and he finished fifth in the evening session with a time of 19.86, which moved him to fourth all-time in the 15-16 age group, trailing only Michael AndrewRyan Hoffer and Caeleb Dressel.

After the race, Dolan discussed the experience of not only being in such a big final for the first time but also his experience at Olympic Trials this summer, where he qualified for the meet just a few weeks before at Omaha’s test event. He also discussed which event he considers his best and revealed some long-term goals for his future.
