(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Devon Nowicki Refocusing on Having Fun With Swimming

Devon Nowicki took a lot of people by surprise in the 100 breast at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus when he placed second in the final behind Michael Andrew. Nowicki didn’t seem disappointed with not breaking a minute, getting a 1:00.00.

Nowicki said he was just trying to find his love for swimming again, and he was taking a gap year to focus on finding that love and passion. Nowicki has been off the grid in the college ranks as he has not competed at NCAA’s since he placed in the A-final as a freshman in 2016.
