(Video Interview) Dave Durden Reacts to ASCA Coach of the Year Award

Minutes after being honored as ASCA Coach of the Year Thursday night in Ft. Lauderdale, Cal head coach Dave Durden spoke with Swimming World about what it meant to be given such an honor.

Durden reflected on his experience coaching at the Olympic Games, where he helped Nathan AdrianAnthony ErvinRyan MurphyJosh Prenot and Tom Shields all win medals, and how life has come back to normal in the weeks since he returned from Rio. Durden also commended several of the other nominees for the award, including five-time winner Bob Bowman, his former Auburn boss David Marsh and his former Cal assistant Greg Meehan.
