(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Ali DeLoof Details Move From Michigan to San Diego

24-year-old Ali DeLoof talked with Swimming World about her recent move from Michigan to San Diego to train with David Marsh and Team Elite. This is the first time DeLoof has lived away from her family and sister in Michigan. DeLoof swam post-grad for Club Wolverine after finishing eligibility at the University of Michigan in 2016.

DeLoof compared her move to California to going to college and being away from family for the first time. DeLoof also talked about the struggles with being away from her sisters.

DeLoof also talked about why she made the move as well as what she is looking forward to in training with world record holder Kathleen Baker and what her favorite part about living in California has been.

DeLoof was sixth in the 100 back at the Knoxville Pro Swim Series with a 1:00.91.
