NEW COMMIT: The Oklahoma Christian University swim team is diving into its first year this fall. Head Coach Josh Davis is working to continue growing the young program and has secured a verbal commitment from Simon Mooney for the Class of 2022.
Mooney is a senior at Bentonville High School in Bentonville, Arkansas. He trains with the Northwest Arkansas Aquatics Sharks.
Mooney’s top times are:
- 50 Free 22.60
- 100 Free 49.19
- 200 Free 1:47.74
- 100 Back 53.57
He wrote in his announcement made on Instagram,
“Super proud to announce my verbal commitment to swim for Oklahoma Christian University! It’s been a long journey, but it’s not over yet! I’d like to thank my family, my friends, and my coaches that have been with me throughout the years. Go Eagles!”
