Claire Rasmus Joins TCU Swimming as Volunteer Assistant Coach

Claire Rasmus has joined TCU Swimming as a volunteer assistant coach.

Rasmus announced the move on social media on Tuesday.

I moved to Dallas!!! I’m so thankful for all of the amazing coaches and mentors at Texas A&M that have pushed me to become a better athlete and person. With those lessons in mind, I’m excited to say I will be joining the TCU swimming family as a volunteer assistant!! @tcuswimjames let’s finish this thing out full circle.”

 

 

Rasmus swam at Texas A&M before joining the DC Trident of the International Swimming League (ISL) in the league’s premiere season in 2019.

She swam for four years at Texas A&M University, securing multiple top-eight finishes at the NCAA Championships for the Aggies. She has earned several international medals swimming for the United States, including a meet record-setting gold at the 2019 World University Games in Naples on the 400 freestyle relay, and four gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.

Rasmus led a 1-2 U.S. finish in the 200 free at the 2019 Pan American Games. She won gold on the 4×100 free relay and 4×200 free relay.

Claire Rasmus was part of the meet-record 4×100 free relay gold medal performance at the World University Games as well.
