USA Water Polo Announces Men’s FINA World League Super Final Roster

Huntington Beach, CA – June 17 – USA Water Polo Men’s Senior National Team Head Coach Dejan Udovicic has announced the 14 athletes that will represent Team USA at the upcoming FINA World League Super Final in Huizhou, China. Teams will select 13 athletes to compete in each match with play starting starting on Tuesday, June 21 when Team USA takes on the host China. Following that match the United States will meet Brazil and Serbia to close out pool play. The competition wraps on Sunday, June 26 with medal round action. Live streaming is expected to be available of at least the semifinals and finals in the United States through beIN Sports. Information on streaming will be shared as soon as it is available. This event marks the last major competition before the 2016 U.S. Olympic Men’s Water Polo Team is named on July 7 on the deck of the USS Midway in San Diego, CA.

After the team announcement the United States will prepare for a match against Montenegro at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas on July 30 at 4:30pm ct. It will be their final game before departing for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the 2016 Olympic Games. Tickets for that match are on sale and can be purchased by clicking here.
