Friday afternoon, USA Swimming released the qualifying times for the major championship meets in 2017. The top meet next summer will be the Phillips 66 National Championships and World Championship Trials, which will be held June 27 through July 1 in Indianapolis.

The majority of the long course qualifying times for that meet are identical to the 2016 Olympic Trials cuts (the times in six events were actually made one to five tenths slower), but athletes can also qualify for Nationals with short course yards standards. Only long course times were accepted for Trials.

View the full list of time standards here.

Qualifying times were also released for the U.S. Open Championships, set for Aug. 2-6 in East Meadow, N.Y. The times for that meet are slightly slower than Nationals qualifying times and also include 18-and-under bonus times. View those cuts here.

Junior Nationals, available to 18-and-under athletes only, follow the U.S. Open in the same East Meadow pool Aug. 8-12. Those cuts are available here.

Also released Friday were cuts for the Futures Championships (link) and the fastest-possible cuts for Speedo Sectionals meets (link).
