USA Swimming Nationals: Club Wolverine Takes Men’s 400 Freestyle Relay Crown

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, August 1. CLUB Wolverine battled Longhorn Aquatics in the men's 400 freestyle relay before surfacing with the victory.

Michael Phelps led CW off with a time of 49.64, while Davis Tarwater clocked in at 49.73 for the second leg. Chris DeJong (49.85) and Peter Vanderkaay (48.74) closed out the win in 3:17.96.

Neil Walker (49.45), David Walters (50.10), Dale Rogers (49.68) and Ricky Berens (49.43) clocked a 3:18.66 for Longhorn's second-place time, while South Africa via Tucson Ford's quartet of Roland Schoeman (49.95), Ryk Neethling (48.57), Darian Townsend (50.17) and Jean Basson (50.15) took third in 3:18.84.
