US Olympic Trials: Wave I Day Two Prelims Heat Sheets

The second morning of the 2021 US Olympic Trials Wave I will kick off at 11 a.m. EST from Omaha, Nebraska as the heats of the 200 free, 100 breast and 400 IM will be contested. The top two swimmers in each event will advance to swim at the Wave II meet June 13 – 20 where the official Olympic team will be selected for the Tokyo Games that will start seven weeks from today.

Fresh off a win in the 100 back, Nebraska’s Autumn Haebig is the top seed in the 200 freestyle as she won the B Final at NCAAs in the event, while Division III record holder KT Kustritz is the top seed in the 100 breaststroke. A couple high school seniors are also on top of the psych sheets heading into today including Auburn commit Henry Bethel in the 100 breaststroke and UCLA commit Paige MacEachern in the 400 IM.

Northwestern’s Jeffrey Durmer (400 IM) and Arizona State’s Liam Bresette (200 free) will also occupy lane four in the final heat of their respective events.

The meet will be streamed on usaswimming.org as well as NBCOlympics.com with the first heat starting at 11 a.m. EST.
