The first night of finals from the 2021 US Olympic Trials Wave I in Omaha will feature four total events – the 100 free, 200 fly, 100 back and 800 free. Finals will begin at 7:00 p.m. local Central time in Omaha, Nebraska as it will be streamed on Olympic Channel.

Teenagers are the top seeds in every event but three tonight with 22-year-olds Jacob Steele and Autumn Haebig leading the 100 back and 21-year-old Luke Johnson the top seed in the 800 freestyle.

With the top two in each event earning invites to the Wave II Olympic Trials next week, the racing should be superb on the first night. High schoolers Camille Spink and Carl Bloebaum are the top seeds in the 100 free and 200 butterfly, respectively, while Andrew Benson (100 free), Alex Massey (200 fly) and Elle Braun (800 free) will swim in lane four in tonight’s finals.
