U.S. to Send 11 Swimmers to World Para Swimming Series in Peru

The United States is set to send 11 swimmers to the World Para Swimming Series stop in Lima, Peru, on Nov. 12-14.

The meet will be held at the VIDENA Aquatic Center, the venue that is slated to host the 2027 Parapan American Games competition. It is the next step on the World Para Swimming Series that concludes Nov. 26-28 in Abu Dhabi.

The American delegation includes two world record holders and four swimmers named to this year’s Under-23 and Rising Stars Program.

Katie Kubiak is one of the leaders of the squad, setting a world record and six American marks over three days at Para Pan Pacs in August. Evan Wilkerson set a pair of world records in the S11 men’s 100 back at Para Pan Pacs in Walnut, Calif.

The roster includes two-time Paralympic medalist Noah Jaffe and two-time Paralympian Lawrence Sapp. Daniella Berger, Liberty Freeman and Meg Severn are members of the Under-23 team, while Josie Dolan represents the Rising Stars Program.
