U.S. Paralympic Trials Psych Sheet Released

The psych sheet for next weekend’s US Paralympic Trials has been released. The meet will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina from July 1-3.

Three time Paralympian Jessica Long is entered in seven events. The 24 year old is seeded second in the 400 free and 100 butterfly and third in the 200 IM. In London in 2012 the now 24 year old took gold in those events, as well as the 100 breaststroke and freestyle.

The NBAC swimmer is also entered sixth in the 100 breaststroke, seventh in the 100 backstroke, eighth in the 100 freestyle, and tenth in the 50 freestyle.

Fellow NBAC swimmer Rebecca Meyers is entered in six events and is the top seed in the 50, 100, and 400 freestyle, 100 butterfly, and 200 IM. At the 2015 IPC World Championships she took home gold in the 200 IM and 400 freestyle.

2012 gold medalist in the 100 and 400 freestyles, Bradley Snyder enters those events as the third and second seed, respectively.

Ian Silverman will head to Charlotte as the top seed in four of the five events he is entered. He leads the way in the 400 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 50 freestyle, and 200 IM. He took gold in 2012 in the 400 freestyle. In the 100 freestyle Silverman is second to Tucker Dupree. 

Dupree is also top seed in the 100 backstroke, along with his second seed in the 50 freestyle.
