After a relatively calm weekend with only one meet for the Big 12 teams, the conference is again buzzing with activity as each school competes at least once this weekend.

Top Storylines:

  1. No. 1/4 Texas travels to Tuscon to take on No. 15/11 Arizona. The Texas teams will most likely take the meets handily, but it will be good for them to have some ranked competition to get them back into the swing of things after a weekend off from racing.
  2. West Virginia has a big weekend ahead of them as they take on a tri-meet with conference rival Iowa State and Villanova on Saturday. They then jet from Morgantown, WV to Columbus, OH to take part in a quad meet against No. 15/25 Ohio State, No. 6/8 Michigan, and unranked Buffalo. The teams will have a chance to experience a busier environment than a dual meet would offer not far out of the conference championships.
  3. The whole conference is competing. With all of the teams in the same place in their training, this weekend will be a good indicator of how things might shake out in a month. Times are more easily comparable this weekend, as is team energy and atmosphere at the meets.
