Just a month out from the PAC 12 Conference Championships, it seems that the PAC 12 schools are looking to hone their championship meet skills. In addition to a number of dual meets this week, several invitationals are being contested with conference and non-conference competitors alike.

4 Top Storylines:

  1. UCLA’s diving invitational is set to begin on Friday and will showcase a number of the conferences top divers. Both boards, as well as the platforms, will be contested in the three day event hosted in Los Angeles, California.
  2. Arena Pro Series Austin: no, this isn’t an NCAA event, but a number of the PAC 12’s best swimmers will forego the short course yards this weekend for the long course meters in the hopes of qualifying for Olympic Trials this coming spring and to compete with some of the best swimmers in the world.
  3. Arizona State take on Wyoming this Saturday. Under new head coach Bob Bowman, the men’s team looks especially strong, led by November PAC 12 Swimmer of the Month, sophomore Patrick Park, who has proven deadly in the fly events.
  4. UCLA hosts Utah and Boise State for a two day tri-meet. The No. 18 UCLA women are the only ranked team competing this weekend and are expected to take the women’s meet handily.
