COLORADO SPRINGS – Although USA Swimming will not announce it officially until next week, Tim Phillips will be added to the 2015 World Championships roster with Tyler Clary adding another swim to his ledger to replace Michael Phelps. Phelps withdrew from the team following his DUI arrest.

Clary, who already was on the team in the 200 back, 200 fly and 400 IM, is likely to add the 200 IM to his schedule in Kazan. That leaves Clary and Ryan Lochte as the two representatives for USA Swimming in the 200 IM.

Phillips, meanwhile, will be added to the roster to replace Phelps’ 100 fly spot.  He will be added alongside Tom Shields in that event.
