PHOENIX, Arizona, May 29. THURSDAY'S edition of The Morning Swim Show talks with swimmer Peter Vanderkaay about dealing with asthma and diver Ariel Rittenhouse about preparing for the Olympic Trials.

Host Peter Busch talks with Olympic gold medalist and new American record holder Peter Vanderakaay about setting the new American record in the 400 free at the Santa Clara Invitational. Vanderkaay talks about the altitude training he did just before the meet and metions "the little things" he has been doing in and out of the pool to help him swim faster.

Vanderkaay also talks about a new campaign he's involved in to help dispel some myths regarding people with asthma. Diagnosed as an asthmatic for almost 15 years, Vanderkaay said "the sky was the limit" once he and his doctor learned about ways to control his symptoms.

In Reaction Time, Busch talks to diver Ariel Rittenhouse, who won a bronze medal in the synchro 3-meter competition at last weekend's FINA Diving World Cup. Rittenhouse mentions the rumors surrounding Chinese diver Guo Jingjing and a possible pregnancy, as well as her own diving and how she is preparing for next month's Olympic Trials.
