Host Peter Busch gives a history of the men's team at ASU since head coach Mike Chasson came to Tempe in 1998. Some of the accolades include Olympic gold medalists and a couple of top 10 finishes at the NCAAs.

The first of two segments in Reaction Time further analyzes the impact of the loss of the men's team. Phil Whitten, executive director of the College Swim Coaches Association of America, talks about the process fans of the team should take to keep the team alive, and how it will impact the women's team, which trains with the men under the same coach. He also talks about how it will affect the Pac-10 conference and what the letter from the athletic director really means.

The second segment in Reaction Time is our weekly preview of the races to be contested in the Olympics. This week, Swimming World senior writer John Lohn mentions the top names in the women's 200 back, which includes world record holder Kirsty Coventry and contenders Laure Manaudou and Margaret Hoelzer.

The show concludes with a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where ISHOF CEO Bruce Wigo talks to some of the clown divers who entertained the crowds at the recent AT&T USA Diving Grand Prix. To see more coverage of the diving competition, click here.
