Swimming World Radio Interviews Swimming World Magazine’s Male College Swimmer of the Week Roland Rudolf
PHOENIX, Arizona, January 26. UNIVERSITY of Florida freshman Roland Rudolf helped the Gators to a strong weekend against Southeastern Conference foes this past weekend to garner Swimming World Magazine's Male College Swimmer of the Week honors. The 2004 Hungarian Olympian, who also earned Collegeswimming.com's Division I National Collegiate Male Swimmer of the Week honors, spoke with Swimming World Radio about the week's performance.
Rudolf won a pair of individual events to lead No. 11 Florida over No. 18 Alabama (172-128) and South Carolina (190-109). He swept the backstroke events with a 49.94 in the 100 back and a B-cut time of 1:46.79 in the 200 back. Against Auburn a day earlier, he won the 500 free with a B-cut time of 4:24.14 and the 200 back with a B-cut time of 1:45.24.
