PHOENIX, Arizona, Sept. 14. DURING the past week, the following meet manager took full advantage of uploading results to the Swimming World meet results section of the website.
SENIOR/OPEN
SUKAN KEBANGSAAN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM
Fourteen new national records fell during the Sukan Kebangsaan Brunei Darussalam Sept. 7-9 at the National Sports Complex Swimming Pool. The meet was hosted by the Brunei Amateur Swimming Club.
The only woman to set records was eleven-year-old Ashley Chai, who bettered National Age Group records in the 400 meter free (5:23.35), 50, 100 and 200 back (35.16, 1:17.14 and 2:47.30), 50 fly (36.24) and 200 IM (2:51.81).
The brother combo of Christian (14) and Nathaniel (15) Nickles combined for eight new standards. Christian lowered both the Open National and National Age Group marks in the 100 free (55.55), and set National Age Group records in the 200 free (2:05.93) plus the 50, 100 and 200 back (30.26, 1:05.74, 2:29.62). Nathaniel erased both the Open National and National Age Group standards in teh 1500 free with his 18:26.91.
