NEW COMMIT: Julia Stupar has given her verbal commitment to swim for the University of Wisconsin Badgers beginning in the fall of 2018. The versatile in-state talent swims for the Stevens Point Area YMCA.
She’ll be a senior at Stevens Point Area High School this fall. For the school team she had two top eight finishes at the 2016 Girls Division 1 Wisconsin High School state meet.
When she made her announcement on Instagram Stupar wrote,
“I am so proud to announce my verbal commitment to swim at the University of Wisconsin Madison!! I can’t wait to be a Badger!”
Her top times are:
- 100 Fly 56.57
- 200 IM 2:05.51
- 50 Free 24.34
- 100 Free 51.60
- 200 Free 1:51.33
Lillie Hosack, Alana Palmer, Holly Stoll, and Margaret Guanci are also verbally committed to the Class of 2022.
