In the pool, MacAlister holds Stanford program records in the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke. He’s also been part of three program relay records. He’s a five-time All-American. MacAlister was part of two Cardinal relays that won league titles at the 2022 Pac-12 Championships.

At this year’s Pac-12 Championships, MacAlister finished sixth in the 200 back and seventh in the 200 back.
