Southwest Aquatics Hires Larry Jukes as New Head Age Group Coach

Southwest Aquatics recently announced via Twitter the addition of Larry Jukes as the club’s new STARS Head Age Group Coach. Jukes has over 14 years of coaching experience under his belt; is a certified ASCA level 3 coach; and has coached state, junior national, and international swimmers. Additionally, Jukes holds a gold level coaching rank with the Peak Performance Swim Camps.
In his collegiate years, Jukes swam for and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Evansville, where he served as a captain of the swim team. Throughout his collegiate swimming years, Jukes frequently ranked within the Top 16 in the nation. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the Thomas Cooley Law School.
Jukes and his wife, Susan, have three children and hail from Bluford, Illinois. Their two youngest children will be joining the Southwest STARS team.
