South Florida Aquatic Club Signs With TYR Sport

TYR Sport

TYR Sport is proud to announce the recent signing of South Florida Aquatic Club to its roster of sponsored teams.

Since its inception in 2010, South Florida Aquatic Club (SOFLO) has grown to become one of the most well-known, multi-level swim programs in the nation. Home to hundreds of swimmers, including U.S. Olympic gold medalist and TYR athlete, Claire Donahue, SOFLO prides itself on remaining diverse in both the number of counties it reaches and the age range of athletes it accommodates. The year-round competitive swim team is trained by a talented staff, including three-time Olympic coach, Chris Anderson. As a member of USA Swimming, SOFLO strives to create a safe, friendly and competitive environment for swimmers to develop the skills for success, both in and out of the pool.

“We are proud to call ourselves one of the first TYR teams here in South Florida,” began Chris Anderson, head coach and CEO of SOFLO. “As an industry leader, TYR understands the needs of competitive swimmers. I truly feel that they have our backs when it comes to providing us with cutting-edge performance apparel.”

Sharing in Anderson’s excitement, Steve Furniss, Team Management Director of TYR Sport, stated, “South Florida Aquatic Club represents the best of the swimming world. We are thrilled to have acquired such a talented program, and look forward to supporting them in the future.”
