USA Swimming’s Golden Goggle Silent Auction Now Live

COLORADO SPRINGS – Featuring a number of one-of-a-kind experiences and items, the 2014 USA Swimming Foundation Golden Goggle Silent Auction is now live online and open for bidding.

Swimming fans unable to attend the Nov. 24 Golden Goggle Awards in New York can still support the USA Swimming Foundation by bidding online now. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the USA Swimming Foundation, which works to strengthen the sport by saving lives and building champions — in the pool and in life.

Among the unique items included in the silent auction are:

  • A trip for two to the 2015 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia; Package includes passes for the Wednesday practice round, Thursday opening round and three nights hotel.
  • A trip for two to Paris for the 2015 French Open tennis tournament; Package includes airfare, a $2,000 Marriott gift card, tickets for two days of the tournament and more.
  • Two VIP tickets to a Boston Red Sox-New York Yankees game at Fenway Park.
  • A Bahamas tennis weekend at the One & Only Ocean Club, including a beachfront suite.
  • A day with Rowdy Gaines in New York City, including a tour of the TODAY Show, lunch at 30 Rock, a USA Swimming broadcast voice-over with Rowdy and Dan Hicks and a swim clinic at Asphalt Green.
  • A Bruce Springsteen autographed Fender electric guitar
  • Additional swimming, sports memorabilia and travel packages and more.

In total, more than 50 unique items will be available for bidding online and in-person at the 2014 Golden Goggle Awards.The bidding will close Monday, Nov. 24 at 8:30 p.m. ET. All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the USA Swimming Foundation.

New items will be added to the online auction throughout the next week.
