Caeleb Dressel (born August 16, 1996) is an American freestyle, breaststroke, and butterfly swimmer who specializes in the sprint events. He won seven gold medals at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest. Dressel is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and currently holds American records in 50-meter and 100-meter freestyle and the 50-meter butterfly (all long course), as well as the world records in the 4×100 meter mixed freestyle and medley relays (long course). He also holds American records in the short course 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle events, the 100-yard butterfly, and the 200-yard individual medley, and formerly in the 100-yard breaststroke.

Kathleen Ledecky (born March 17, 1997) is an American competitive swimmer. She is a five-time Olympic gold medalist and 14-time world champion, the most in history for a female swimmer. She is the current world-record holder in the women’s 400-, 800-, and 1500-meter freestyle (long course). She also holds the fastest-ever times in the women’s 500-, 1000-, and 1650-yard freestyle events.

In her international debut at the 2012 London Olympic Games as a 15-year-old, Ledecky unexpectedly won the gold medal in the women’s 800-metre freestyle. Four years later, she left Rio de Janeiro as the most decorated female athlete of the 2016 Olympic Games with four gold medals, one silver medal, and two world records. In total, she has won 26 medals (24 golds and two silver) in major international competitions, spanning the Summer Olympics, World Championships, and Pan Pacific Championships. During her career, she has broken thirteen world records.

Ledecky’s success has earned her Swimming World’s World Swimmer of the Year in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Ledecky was also named Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year in 2017, international female Champion of Champions by L’Équipe in 2014 and 2017, United States Olympic Committee Female Athlete of the Year in 2013, 2016 and 2017, and Sportswoman of the Year by the Women’s Sports Foundation in 2017. Ledecky’s 10 individual gold medals at the World Aquatics Championships and 14 combined individual titles at the Olympics and World Aquatics Championships are records in women’s swimming.

Dara Torres (born April 15, 1967) is an American competitive swimmer who is a twelve-time Olympic medalist and former world record-holder in three events. Torres is the first swimmer to represent the United States in five Olympic Games (1984, 1988, 1992, 2000 and 2008), and, at age 41, the oldest swimmer to earn a place on the U.S. Olympic team. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, she competed in the 50-meter freestyle, 4×100-meter medley relay, and 4×100-meter freestyle relay, and won silver medals in all three events.

Torres has won twelve Olympic medals (four gold, four silver, four bronze), one of three women with the most Olympic women’s swimming medals. The others are fellow Americans Jenny Thompson and Natalie Coughlin. She has won at least one medal in each of the five Olympics in which she has competed, making her one of only a handful of Olympians to earn medals in five different Games.

The Napa Valley Reserve 2014 blend, predominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, was produced at The Napa Valley Reserve by Harlan Estate winemaking team. Made to the exact same standards as the other wines in the portfolio, the wine is aged in new French oak barrels, racked once to blend and bottled without fining or filtration.

In the glass, the 2014 has a deep ruby red color. Its vibrant nose delivers notes of dark roasted cocoa, blackberry, charcoal and truffle. Its attack is fleshy, dense and exuberant; displaying a elevated amount of fine-grained tannins which carry into a rich mid-palate. 2014 is a very intriguing and generous vintage that, while tempting now, should promise increasing pleasure over the next 30+ years.
