Sarah Sjostrom Snares Third Title of Swedish Champs

Sarah Sjostrom captured her third title of the Swedish Summer Championships with a swift 100-meter fly.

Sjostrom clinched the women’s 100-meter fly title in 56.96, just off her 2014 meet record of 56.50 and a second off her top-ranked season best of 56.04 from the Sette Colli Trophy meet.

Louise Hansson took second in 58.81 with Ida Lindborg claiming third in 1:00.96.

Erik Persson topped the men’s 400-meter IM in 4:23.80 with Linus Kanth taking second in 4:25.41.  Simon Frank snared third in 4:28.26.

Henriette Stenkvist took home the women’s 200-meter back title in 2:16.51.  Miranda Arvidsson placed second in 2:17.18 with Anna Ahlin earning third in 2:19.50.

Mattias Carlsson claimed the men’s 100-meter back title in 56.60 with Pontus Palmqvist just behind in second in 56.94.  Petter Fredriksson placed third in 57.43.

Jennie Johansson smoked the women’s 50-meter breast finale with a 31.14 for the win.  Sophie Hansson touched second in 31.81 with Jessica Billquist taking third in 32.31.

Sebastian Holmberg hit the wall first in the men’s 50-meter fly with a time of 24.61.  Christoffer Carlsen placed a close second in 24.69 with Stefan Stojmenovic claiming third in 24.71.

Alba Fores topped the women’s 800-meter free in 9:02.85 with Christine Ekman taking second in 9:03.29.  Erica Dahlgren snared third in 9:05.62.
