Less than two weeks after the TAC Titans broke the girls 10 and under 200 medley relay long course National Age Group record a team from Santa Clara Swim Club has lowered the mark.

Swimming at the Far Western Championships in California Davina Huang (36.21), Lyla Elaydi (38.53), Kelsey Zhang (33.44) and Bhavanshree Vishwanath (29.99) touched in 2:18.17.

That time was a full half second faster than the Titans’ 2:18.71.

TAC’s splits:

Lily Ann Willis– 34.93

Nicole Zettel– 39.28

Taylor Cureton– 33.99

Meredith Whelehan– 30.51

The previous record was a 2:19.25 swum by Ohio State Swim Club in 2014. That mark has now come down by a full second.
