Adelaide Brown has committed to swim for Saint Louis University next fall. Brown swims for Crawfish Aquatics in Baton Rouge. She is a senior at Baton Rouge International School, which does not have a swim team.
Brown explained her college decision, “The Athletics and Academic were exactly what I was looking for. Decision was a no-brainer.”
Her best times are:
- 100 BR 1:06.62
- 200 BR 2:24.76
- 500 Free 5:07.82
- 1000 Free 10:33.50
At this year’s A10 Championships it took a 1:04.66 to earn a finals swim in the 100 breaststroke. Saint Louis’ highest finisher was junior Nora Gartland (1:06.10). Just behind Garland was freshman Emily Kishish (1:06.12). Brown will have great training partners in those two as the three will likely compete for a spot on the team’s medley relay.
