Swimming World presents the video series called the Ross Report. It is a series where our head video producer Andy Ross will travel around the country to tell the stories of the swimmers and divers you don’t know much about.

Previous Ross Report episodes:

This week’s episode focuses on Nova Southeastern University, who is competing at Division II NCAAs this week in Indianapolis. Ross talked to sophomores Jenna Johns and Emma Sundstedt as well as senior Caroline Oster.

The three talked about the experience of finishing third as a team at 2018 NCAAs, the school’s highest finish to date.

Nova Southeastern also has a lot of international student athletes on the team and the three talked about what they have enjoyed about being around so many people from so many different places. The team puts on a Friendsgiving for the swimmers that don’t get to go home for Thanksgiving and each person would bring a different dish.

Sundstedt is seeded to score big points in the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650. She did not meet her goals at NCAAs last year and she talked about what she has done differently this year to make sure she hits her peak this week rather than at conference.

Johns and Oster are also seeded to score in their respective events as the Sharks are seeded to score in the top five for the third straight year.
