Rondy, Kamrau-Corestein Win During Magog Leg of FINA Marathon World Cup
MAGOG, Canada, Aug. 6. GILLES Rondy completed the swim first during the Magog leg of the FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup held at Memphremagog Lake in Quebec, Canada on Saturday.
The winner captured gold in 23:39:55, while last stop’s winner Petar Stoychev earned silver in 23:39:82. Meanwhile, Alexander Studzinski scored bronze in 23:48:77 as one of only three to finish the event in under 24:00:00.
On the women’s side, Britta Kamrau-Corestein finished first in 24:07:29, while Esther Nunez Morera took second in 24:18:10. Meanwhile, Celeste Punet placed third in 24:19:55.
