Rider University Picks Up Verbal Commitment From Breaststroker Nicole Harms
NEW COMMIT: Cherry Hill, New Jersey’s Nicole Harms has given her verbal commitment to swim for Rider University beginning next fall. Harms is a senior at Cherry Hill High School East. She is also a member of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties YBCC Phoenix Swim Team in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.
A YMCA National qualifier, Harms’ best times are:
- 100 Breast 1:08.03
- 200 Breast 2:32.51
- 100 Fly 1:01.36
- 100 Free 55.16
Harms shared,
“So excited to announce my verbal commitment to Rider University to continue my athletic and academic career!! Go broncs!!”
At the 2017 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships the Broncs were runners up. Harms should be a significant point scoring contributor. Her best 100 breaststroke would have finished seventh at last year’s meet. Rider’s only finalists were both in the top eight, and both juniors. They’ll have graduated by Harms’ arrival, also putting her in the conversation for the medley relay spot. In the 200 breast Harms would have touched 13th last year. Again, Rider’s only entries were upperclasswomen.

Don’t see a reason not to share it
Nicole so proud of you !! You will be great at Rider !
