The USMS Nationals concluded from Riverside, California on Sunday night as a handful of Masters Records went down. Veteran Masters swimmers Karlyn Pipes and two-time Olympian from the 1970’s Rick Colella were two of the swimmers to break multiple records on Sunday. Charlotte Davis and Laura Val both broke two records in the 65-69 age group on Sunday night.

2016 Olympians Nathan Adrian and Ryan Lochte were also on hand at the Spring Nationals. Adrian won the 50 free in the 25-29 age group with a 20.20 where he breathed every stroke. Lochte won the 100 back in the 30-34 age group with a 46.57, just missing Adam Mania’s 46.34 masters record. Adrian scratched the 100 backstroke on Sunday.

Lochte finished ahead of Simon Burnett (48.25) who swam at Arizona and had one of the most legendary swims in history with his 1:31.20 200 free from the 2006 NCAA’s. Burnett swam the 200 free today with a 1:36.99 in the 30-34 age group.
