Relive 3 of 2018’s Biggest Swimming Trends

Some swimming trends will never go out of style – belly flops, creative dryland exercises, bubble rings and so much more. Many new trends emerged this year, but none cuter than the sudden abundance of puppies on pool decks across the globe. Swimmers and pups had plenty of poolside views to accompany them as well, while some of your favorite USA National Team members showed off their photo-editing skills.

Pups at Practice

Lithuanian Olympic Champion Ruta Meilutyte shared a photo of her with a dog at practice in late 2017. Ever since, swimmers have brought their pups to practice for motivation, stress relief and in Chase Kalisz‘s case, to provide threshold sets:
