Relay Lineups Out for Mixed 400 Medley Relay Prelims at Worlds

Relay line-ups for the preliminary heats of the mixed 400 medley relay have officially been released. The event will feature four heats of competition.


The United States have entered Ryan Murphy, Kevin Cordes, Kelsi Worrell, and Mallory Comerford. They will swim in heat two of the competition against Germany, Republic of Moldova, Estonia, Israel, Canada, Madagascar, and Slovakia. Canada’s relay team features Javier Acevedo, Richard Funk, Rebecca Smith, and Chantal van Landeghem.

Great Britain will rest breaststroke phenom Adam Peaty for prelims, choosing instead to rely on Ross Murdoch for that leg. He will be joined by Georgia Davies James Guy, and Freya Anderson. They are in a heat with Aruba, Finland, Faroe Islands, Argentina, Hungary, South Africa, Angola, Sweden, and Australia.

Hungary’s team features Gabor Balog, Daniel Gyurta, Liliana Szilagyi, and Zsuzsanna Jakabos, while Australia will rely on Kaylee Mckeown, Matthew Wilson, Grant Irvine, and Shayna Jack.
