Reece Whitley Nearly Cracks 53 in 100 Breast 13-14 National Age Group Record

COLLEGE PARK – At the Speedo Tom Dolan Invitational this evening, Penn Charter’s Reece Whitley nearly became the youngest male to ever crack 53 seconds in the 100-yard breast with a 13-14 National Age Group record.

The 14 year old blasted his way to a sizzling time of 53.06, clearing the age group mark of 53.84 he posted during preliminary qualifying this morning.

That prelim swim cleared the previous record of 53.88 set by Michael Andrew earlier this year before he aged up to 15 years old.

Amazing you man , my Son is 13 nearly 14 and has a way to go to crack that time , he loves breaststroke any tips gratefully received , lots of luck to you keep it up ! x
