Rebecca Soni Returning To Swimming Via The Race Club Swimming Video Series

FLORIDA KEYS, Florida, January 22. WITH breaststroke star Rebecca Soni taking an extended break following her barrier breaking 2012 London Olympics, the swimming world has been wondering when she’d be back in the water.

After watching all of her world records fall in 2013 with Ruta Meilutyte, Rikke Moeller Pedersen and Yuliya Efimova (albeit with a positive doping test on her resume at this point) all taking Soni’s standards to the next level, the world still wondered how and when Soni might be motivated to return.

While it isn’t a lock that she’ll be back in competitive swimming, The Race Club has announced that Soni will be part of a new web series focused on technique that will be filmed in February. The series will include Soni, Roland Schoeman, Junya Koga, Zach Hayden and Lexie Kelly.

The Race Club is directed and coached by Dr. Gary Hall, a three-time Olympic medalist.
