CHARLOTTE – Queens Swimming, a day after taking down three NCAA D2 marks, took down another tonight at the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships.

The foursome of Zach Phelps (49.57), Nic Eriksson (52.15), Matt Josa (45.51) and Ben Taylor (43.27) ripped off a time of 3:10.50.

That swim lowered Queens’ own record set by a nearly identical team in 2014 with Hayden Kosater in place of Taylor on the anchor leg.

Phelps (49.30), Eriksson (52.42), Josa (45.46) and Kosater (43.92) posted a 3:11.10 to beat the previous NCAA D2 mark of 3:11.93 set by Grand Canyon last year.
