INCHEON, South Korea, September 29. IN the coming days, prosecutors in Japan will decide how severely to punish Japanese swimmer Naoya Tomita, who was recently expelled from Japan’s Asian Games team after stealing a South Korean reporter’s camera from the pool deck.

Prosecutors received the papers on Tomita today from police and will soon determine his punishment. Tomita is still at the athletes’ village in Incheon, while the rest of the Japanese swim team has returned to Japan.

More details on the incident and prosecution are detailed in the Japan Times article.
