The only man of the field came away with the most votes. Florent Manaudou in the 50 freestyle with a time 20.26 captured 37% of the votes. Mireia Belmonte Garcia’s 200 fly came in a close second 31% followed by Alia Atkinson 100 Breast 12%, Katinka Hosszu 200 Back 11% and Sarah Sjostrom 8%.

This week we want to know: Do you think FINA puts more emphasis on short course competition versus long course competition? There are a couple different arguments emerging from this question that will continue to evolve but as everything stands now, does FINA put more emphasis on short course meters? Please weigh in and vote at SwimmingWorld.com. This time next week we will bring you the results.
