The fourth night of the 2017 Phillips 66 Nationals saw several Team USA members secure additional events for the World Championships and some veterans return to the forefront.

Among those returning to the forefront was 2012 Olympic gold medalist Matt Grevers, who topped the competition in the men’s 100 back.

Unsurprising to most, Katie Ledecky continued her reign over the distance free events with a top showing in the 400, while Zane Grothe stole the show in the men’s 400 free with a first place finish.

Lilly King and Kevin Cordes completed their sweep of the breaststroke events, and for Cordes it was done in record-breaking fashion as the 2016 Olympian set a new American record.
