The 2017 Phillips 66 National Championships continued in Indianapolis today, with several Olympians topping events in prelims of day two.

Katie Ledecky, representing Stanford, clocked a swift 1:55.87 to lead the women’s 200 free field for tonight’s ‘A’ final, while Townley Haas of Texas topped the men’s field with a 1:46.85.

Indiana’s Lilly King posted a strong showing in the women’s 200 breast, but it was Andrew Wilson who stole the breaststroke show – flirting with the world record for the first 150-meters of the race.

Kathleen Baker, Sean Lehane, Kelsi Worrell, and Cullen Jones also claimed top seeds.

Swimming World’s Peter H. Bick was on hand all morning to capture all of the action and excitement as Team USA looks ahead to securing more members of the 2017 World Championships team.
