PHOENIX, Arizona, September 4. THE Paralympics have shown us some remarkable performances by the world's best disabled swimmers over the past few days. These athletes train just as hard as their able-bodied counterparts, and every four years, they arrive on the world's biggest stage to put their athletic talents on display.
It's not easy to pick one performance out of the dozens that have impressed us at Swimming World, so we're going to give our Performance of the Week to all of the Paralympians at the London Aquatic Center, for their strength of character and tenacity of spirit. What they are doing this week in the pool is an inspiration to us all. So congratulations to all the Paralympians. You've earned our Performance of the Week.
