SHERMAN OAKS, California, September 18. JIM Herrick, a swim school instructor who coached kids how to swim for more than 40 years, died last week at the age of 66 according to the Patch.
The article reports that Herrick was in remission from a bout with cancer, but died from complications of the cancer after having issues with his lungs.
A memorial is planned for Sunday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m. at Campbell Hall Episcopal School (located on Laurel Canyon in Studio City, CA). Herrick's son Dylan is making the arrangements.
