Indianapolis is still buzzing after a stellar meet at the women’s NCAA championships where records went down in eight of 18 swimming events, but just two days from now, the men will take the water in the same natatorium for their edition of the NCAA championships.

At that meet, head coach Eddie Reese and the Texas men will be bidding for a third straight NCAA championship, and the Longhorns have all of their key pieces returning: Joseph Schooling, Jack Conger, Will Licon and Townley Haas. But Cal’s Ryan Murphy, Florida’s Caeleb Dressel, the rising NC State Wolfpack and a host of other schools will hope to knock off the champs.

To preview what’s to come in the team race, Swimming World NCAA Division I beat writer Dan D’Addona again joined host David Rieder on Off Deck to make their predictions in the team race and discuss some of the interesting inter-conference rivalries.
