For the first time since Alexander Dale Oen passed in 2012, the Norwegian national team is back in Flagstaff, Arizona, training at the Wall Aquatic Center.

As national coach Petter Løvberg puts it, they need to move forward in Dale Oen’s memory, and also to go back to Flagstaff as part of that process.

The High Performance Sport Center in Flagstaff was according to Løvberg one of Dale Oen’s favorite places for high altitude training, and a place where he over a 10 year period spent almost a year, before he passed while on camp there.

Norway’s national broadcasting company NRK has this video from the camp in Flagstaff.
