No. 3 Auburn Set to Take On Undefeated Aggies

COLLEGE STATION, Texas–The No. 19 Texas A&M men's swimming and diving team will likely get its toughest test of the season on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Student Rec Center Natatorium.

The Aggies (5-0, 1-0) will welcome the third-ranked Auburn Tigers (3-0, 1-0) to College Station for a potential battle of unbeatens. A&M will catch Auburn on the back half of a two-day top 20 doubleheader. The Tigers are scheduled to face No. 2 Texas in Austin on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Texas A&M has not contested a dual meet since Dec. 21. The Aggies downed Purdue, Cincinnati and host Florida Atlantic in Boca Raton to pick up a trio of dual meet wins.

The Aggies' spotless record has not just been relegated to dual meets. A&M has won all three championship meets it has swam this year. The Aggies are the meet champions of the Big 12 Relays, Reveille Invitational and Indiana Invitational so far this season.

Auburn finished seventh at last year's NCAA Championships held in College Station. The Tigers set four school records in scoring enough points to finish fourth but were penalized for missing a race which dropped them to seventh. Auburn has also won five straight SEC titles.
